ONTARIO, California – The Ontario Fury presented by Ford will finally open their 2019-20 Major Arena Soccer League campaign tonight as they travel south down Interstate 15 to face the San Diego Sockers. Game time is set for 7:35pm at Pechanga Arena in San Diego and the game will be shown live on MASL.tv.

This will be the first of four regular season meetings between the two rivals. The teams met once already earlier this preseason with the Fury coming out with the 9-8 Overtime win. The Sockers currently hold a record of 1-1 in the Western Conference while the Fury will be playing its first game of the season. Last year the Sockers swept the season series 6-0.

Tonight will be the first of two games on the road this weekend to kickoff the season for the Fury. Sunday the team travels to take on the Tacoma Stars in Kent, Washington. Kickoff for that game is scheduled for 5:05pm.

Tonight will also mark Ontario Fury Veteran Defender Israel Sesay’s 100th regular season game in a Fury Uniform. He will be the first Fury player in its short history to accomplish this milestone.
