Ontario Fury Announce Former Player as Assistant Coach

The Ontario Fury have announced former player Corey Maret as the new assistant coach following the release of their 2021 – 2022 Season Schedule.
Corey Maret, joined the Fury back in 2014 as a trade to help the team secure their playoff run during their second year of establishment. He continued to play a role as a Fury defender for four consecutive seasons and in 2017 participated in the WMF World Cup in Tunisia with Team USA, where he was joined by several other Fury players.
Maret is currently finishing up his bachelor’s degree in science at the University of California Riverside’s Business School. He is majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in management. In addition to schooling, he is currently a coach and the Youth Director of Soccer at Empire Soccer Club here in the Inland Empire.

I look forward to learning a lot from him from both a coaching and manager perspective. I’m excited to be back with the best club and organization in the league that brought me so many joyful and proud moments. We will focus and strive for being championship bound.”
The Ontario Fury will play an exhibition match on November 30th against Fury II leading up to their Home Opener on December 15 where they will face the new expansions team the Chihuahua Savage at Toyota Arena.
