Nine Ontario Fury Players to Participate in Us-brazil Showdown

Ontario, California- The Ontario Fury, Driven by Mark Christopher Chevrolet, are proud to announce that nine players from the squad have been added to the rosters for Saturday’s Major Arena Soccer League International Challenge between the United States and Brazil.

Each team has 10 players confirmed for their rosters, showcasing players from across the Major Arena Soccer League. So far, players from eight teams are set for the game, with more players and teams to be announced in the coming days. The game will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 27 at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif.

Members of the Fury expected to play for the United States are: Corey Maret, Tino Nunez, Andy Reyes, Nelson Santana and Israel Sesay. Suiting up for Brazil will be: Lucio Gonzaga, Mauricio Salles, Sanaldo and Tiguinho.

The United States team will be coached by San Diego’s Phil Salvagio and captained by the Sockers’ Kraig Chiles. Also set to play will be Cameron Brown (Dallas Sidekicks), Matt Clare (San Diego), Felipe Gonzalez (Las Vegas Legends) and Gordy Gurson (Cedar Rapids Rampage).

The Brazilian team, which will be coached by Cedar Rapids’ new coach Hewerton Moreira, will also include Rafael Dias (Detroit Waza Flo), Marcio Leite (Milwaukee Wave), Luan Sales Oliveira (San Diego), Ricardinho (Milwaukee) and Ze Roberto (San Diego).

Tickets for the game are available starting at $10 at the Citizens Business Bank Arena box office or online at Ticketmaster.com. Fans can avoid ticket fees by purchasing tickets through the Ontario Fury’s offices by calling 909-457-0252. Group ticket packages are also available for the game by contacting the Fury’s offices.

Season tickets for the 2016-17 season are also available now. Season ticket holders will get the chance to keep the same tickets for the all 10 regular season home games, along with free parking, merchandise discounts and invitations to special season ticket holder events.
