The Ontario Fury, Driven by Mark Christopher Chevrolet, will return to the Major Arena Soccer League’s Eastern Division for a pair of games this weekend that will wrap up the team’s longest road trip of the season.

Ontario, which last played at Citizens Business Bank Arena on Nov. 5, will first take on the defending Ron Newman Cup Champion Baltimore Blast at SECU Arena on Friday. Kickoff for the game is 4:30 p.m. Pacific. The Blast have opened the season 2-1, winning both of their games at their new home. Baltimore is led from the back by perennial all-star goaltender William Vanzela. Up front, Vinicius Dantas, who has five goals and three assists in three games.

After their game in Baltimore, the Fury will make a return trip to Harrisburg, Penn., for a rematch with the Heat. Ontario ran out to a 4-2 lead in the team’s last meeting, before the Heat rallied scoring five unanswered goals over the second and third quarter to take a 7-4 lead late in the third quarter. Ontario scored twice, but couldn’t get the equalizer, falling 7-6.

Ontario is led by Leonardo de Oliveira, who has 11 points (four goals, seven assists) in four games so far this season. He is joined atop the leading scorers board by Thiago Goncalves and Douglas Lima, who each have four goals. The Fury will head east without a pair of players, as Tino Nunez and Gerardo Bravo will stay home nursing injuries. Ontario also released backup goaltender Adrian Topete on Wednesday, leaving the team’s active roster at 19 players for the weekend.

Ontario returns to Citizens Business Bank Arena on Dec. 10 to take on the El Paso Coyotes. Tickets for that game, scheduled to kickoff at 3 p.m., are on sale now at the Citizens Business Bank Arena box office, online at Ticketmaster.com or through the Fury’s offices by calling 909-457-0252.
